About Mary I.
I’ve loved the power of personal style ever since I was a little girl… though it didn’t exactly start with love at first sight. I still remember the moment my mom brought home what I swore were the ugliest shoes on the planet: saddle oxfords. I was crushed. She thought they were practical; I wanted to feel stylish. That moment lit a spark in me—one that’s guided me ever since. Now, I get to help women bridge that same gap: between what’s practical and what feels personal, expressive, and right. Whether I’m curating a wardrobe for an international business trip or helping a woman rediscover herself through a closet refresh, I bring deep experience, a collaborative spirit, and a whole lot of heart. At The Style Studio by Mary I, I help women simplify their wardrobes and show up as the most confident, authentic version of themselves. Through my Signature Styling Experience, I offer high-touch, personalized support to women navigating career shifts, lifestyle changes, or simply a new season of life. I create wardrobes that reflect who they are and the lives they're living now. My clients are busy professionals, creatives, moms, entrepreneurs, and women in leadership. Q: How do I know which Style Experience is right for me?
Start with a complimentary Discovery Call! We’ll talk through your goals, and I'll guide you on the experience that feels like the best fit for your lifestyle, budget, and next chapter.
Q: What happens during a Discovery Call?
It’s a relaxed, 20-minute conversation where we talk about your style goals, your lifestyle, and what’s been feeling challenging with your wardrobe. I’ll answer your questions and share which Style Experience is the best fit for you. No pressure—just clarity and next steps.
Q: Do I need to prepare anything before we work together?
Not at all! Come as you are. During our sessions, I’ll guide you through everything step by step. My role is to make the process easy (and fun!), so you can focus on feeling confident in your style—not stressed about the details.
Q: Do you only work with women in Southern California?
Not at all! While I offer in-person services locally, I work with clients virtually from across the country. The Signature Styling Experience can be tailored to work virtually, while The Luxe Edit is primarily offered in Southern California. We'll determine what makes the most sense for you during your Discovery Call.
Q: Will you try to change my style?
Never. My role is to help you refine and express the style that feels most like you. Together, we’ll create a wardrobe that feels authentic, flattering, and easy to wear.
Q: What if I’m still figuring out what works for my current season of life?
You’re in exactly the right place. I work with many women who are navigating change—professionally, personally, or physically. My approach is all about dressing who you are now while helping you feel confident and prepared for what’s next.
Q: Do I need to complete the Style Discovery Experience before working with you?
Not at all. Style Discovery is a wonderful place to begin if you'd like to explore your style on your own, but it isn't a prerequisite for working with me. If you're ready for personalized support, we can start there—and I'll guide you through the discovery process as part of our work together.
